This piece / installation explores memory and identity through purchase tickets placed as a curtain where each ticket represents an economic transaction made by the author and each one of the 12 strips of tickets that compose it represents a month in 2016.

 

Thus, the piece seeks to form a self-portrait of the author as Homo œconomicus taking into account the time (12 months) in space / journey (places where economic transactions were made). On the other hand, the piece explores the ephemeral nature of memory and identity, revealing (in what is spent on some of the tickets) how, as time goes by, the past becomes blurred and imprecise and opaque.
